If you believe that Jesus lives today, if you believe that he is here, in this place, now in the 21st century, then one way we can put this faith into action is to pray for God’s transformational power to give new life to his children. Fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, let us pray for God’s children. And when you have a story to tell, proclaim it (see encounter) to the world!

Father God,
The glory of your creation unfolds in a spectacle of light on this awesomely beautiful day. But so many of your children in this world are living in a dark place. How do we help them Lord? How can you use us to help open their eyes to your awesome power? Fortify your children and use them in your service. We are an army of lights strategically placed by you throughout this village, throughout this land, throughout the world. Blow your spirit on your lights, revive us with your awesome fire, open our eyes that we can see you and your work in every person, in every situation, in every blessed part of your awesome universe. All praise and honour and glory and power are yours forever and ever. In the name of Jesus. He is risen! Alleluia, He is risen Indeed! Amen.
