Join us at 11 a.m., St. Andrew’s Church, Coniston, Cumbria.
On Bible Sunday we will reflect on the importance of the Bible and look at how it can speak God’s word to us. During the service we will be making an Origami Dove to represent the word of God, the Bible. A Bible Society Video of China will be shown to highlight the growth of the Church there and the need for more Chinese Bibles.
Our final hymn will be an acappella version of Santo, Santo, Santo.

A great evening was had by all last night at the Coniston C of E school where work of students in years 1 to 6 was on display. Students were tutored by local artists and the result was a stunning success. While the children played cricket outside (on a hot July night they weren’t doing any show and tell inside) adults were treated to a first rate show. Every work sold out and the only lament was that this is the only view. Hope they do it again next year! A few pictures, taken when the crowd thinned out, tell the story:
Monday, 9 September 2013, St. Andrew’s Church, 7:30 p.m. Induction service for the Reverend Tim Harmer. We look forward to welcoming our new Priest-in-Charge of St. Andrew’s and St. Luke’s churches.
